Hi everyone,
I would like to know if is it possible with the SuSE 9.1 to have a sort of "software RAID". I have a PC with two normal ATA HDD, identical, and I have a SuSE box on hda and an empty hdb. I would like to have a sort of RAID on the second HDD, with an updated mirror of the first drive. At least updated daily. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

/usr/share/doc/packages/raidtools/Software-RAID.HOWTO.html YaST -> System -> Partitioner -> RAID -> Create RAID Updates will be instantaneous - not once a day. If you want once a day then you need a backup strategy not RAID Tim
Thanks to everyone who answered me, I'll try it ASAP. Thanks again. Fulvio Tims Suse List ha scritto:
