[opensuse] Apache OpenOffice rpms for 11.4?
All, Are there any Apache OpenOffice rpms available for 11.4? 3.4-dev, etc.. I tried search.opensuse.org and it appears down. Anybody know of a project that may have these available? -- David C. You can always get it from OOo directly: http://www.openoffice.org/download/other.html (version 3.3.0 is the last available version of OOo). If you want an AOO Developer snapshot of their upcoming 3.4 release, you can get it from here: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OOOUSERS/AOO+3.4+Unofficial+Deve... The only thing "missing" really is the openSUSE branding and openSUSE used to include a stack of extensions that, if you need/use them, can be pulled down individually from the Extensions website: http://extensions.openoffice.org/ C. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks C, I've been using the 3.4 developer snapshot on Arch. (older snapshot - works fine, renders correctly, just has a strange java issue that prevents opening files directly from konqueror) I need to manually update that as well -- but Arch just went to gcc47 and I NOT going wade into that hornets' nest trying to build AOO from source.... Ugly... If you have some spare time, we could use your c/c++ talents on the TDE project. I'll drop a note on how the AOO rpm install goes. I'm interested to see if any of the bugs I've filed against it are actually fixed.. Thanks again :) -- David C.
