Hi, My hyperlinks in email for http: or https: stopped working a while after I did online updates (I'm only guessing). Where can I specify an application (Firefox) to be opened? In Gnome or in Evolution? I vaguely remember I did this task once with an older version of SuSE but I don't remember clearly. My environment is below: - SuSE 10.0 - Gnome 2.x desktop - Evolution 2.4.0 Toshi

Use the gnome configuration editor (gconf-editor) for that. Goto: /desktop/gnome/url-handlers/http/command and /desktop/gnome/url-handlers/https/command And give the value: firefox %s Chris Maaskant.
Thanks, It was actually there. What happened was when I updated Firefox in the past, it was installed into a different folder where I didn't have a path. At that time, I put a full path in launcher's properties to make it work instead of adding the path. I totally forgot about it. Now it's working. -Toshi On Mon, 2006-04-17 at 11:11 +0200, Chris Maaskant wrote:
