Hi all After initial problems, I thought I had VNC up and running to control my Suse 9.2 machine from a Windows box elsewhere in the house using Java in my browser. I can open a session and use the mouse, but now I find out the keyboard doesn't work at all. Is this a common problem? regards Martin

Is this a common problem? If you're using uninvited connections, I think you have to specifically enable "Allow uninvited connections to control the desktop" in the Configure menu under System->Remote Access->Desktop Sharing
