PS. What's 'pin wlan' ?
Andrea, "pin" stands for "Package IdentificatioN" Pin searches the installed packages (rpm -qi, -ql) and/or the ARCHIVES.gz file for the desired information. It shows also README, README.SuSE, & FAQ, when available. it is a good rpm to install. I use it all the time. it is on The SuSE CD/DVD. However, SUSE issued a security patch for it in early January. So to get the latest copy go to: http://www.suse.co.uk/uk/private/download/updates/index.html Select which Distro you are running, and then use "find" to find "pin", down load it, and install it. (Don't forget to run SuSEconfig) I snipped off the rest of the message. There have been some good discussions on both hotpugging and wireless devices. Hopefully others on this list can help you, as I am out of my league. Gar -- __________________________________________________________________ New! Unlimited Netscape Internet Service.
