Perhaps... :-? There is a bug in the "/sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.susehelp" file for suse 8.1, that impedes the index from being built: Executing /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.susehelp... Creating susehelp index. Executing /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.susewm... pidofproc: cannot stat /usr/sbin/indexsusehelp: No such file or directory Edit "/sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.susehelp" and change the wrong references at the bottom to "susehelpindex". There are three or four typing errors there. Then run "SuSEconfig" from the console. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
