I have heard of people using apt-get on suse. What package is it? Also, isn't suse an RPM based distro? Thanks!

apt-get is another front end to RPM, not unlike using yast, to install packages. Keep in mind that apt-get can not only install SuSE blessed packages but also other packages that may possibly mess up your installation (non-SuSE blessed packages). -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989 SuSE since 1998 * Only reply to the list please*
