Hi, I agree with you : importing vcf cardars to kmail it's quit slick, but I don't think that is kmail fault. I think the software used to export from windows (ex. outport) adds some "nuances" to the vcf standard, or windows implements it with that nuances. Let me share what I've done to import my contacts from outlook to kmail: 1. Installed Thunderbird in windows, imported my OL contacts to it, exported them from Thunderbird in LDIF format, I imported them to Kmail. You might have to convert some characters in windows code page to UTF8, using the convert command in Linux. 2. E-mail from OL all your contacts, retrieved the message in Linux and saved the attached cards. Let me know if it helped. No, but only because this client only had OE. Even then, it was necessary to export his addressbook to a .csv file and import that to kmail/kontact, which again is quite slick.
