Hi Everyone, I have been living with this for some time now, but now I finally have time to take care of it, hopefully with some help. Ever since I installed 13.2 on my new laptop, LibreOffice will only open in the background. It never has focus when opening. Windows open maximized or normal size (not minimized), but always underneath the window that is in focus. It does not open behind all other windows, only behind the window that is in focus. I tried using KDE special application settings to fix this, but I could only get it to be on top permanently so that no other documents can be in focus. It doesn't happen in 13.1, and I haven't tried it on other machines. I did try resetting all my KDE settings by deleting the kde4 directory, which gave KDE all brand new settings, and it still had the same problem. I also tried to uninstall, reboot, and re-install libreoffice. I still had the same problem. It does it for all LibreOffice applications. Another funny thing it does, is that if I hit alt-tab twice after opening it, it brings it into focus. But hitting alt-tab only once doesn't help. The same thing goes for any password dialog box that it needs to open the file. If LibreOffice is already open on one of my other screen desktops, and I open a new LibreOffice file or the application directly, the window will come up in focus. Also, if I run libreoffice --calc from the command line (or any of the other libreoffice applications from the command line), it does come up in focus. It is only when I start it either by clicking on the file to open, or by clicking on the start of that application with no other libreoffice applications open that it comes up not in focus. Any ideas? I am using LibreOffice 4.3.7.2 on laptop #2 below.
