I think the delta isos should be advertised _much_ more! Currently, when you visit the downlaod page at [1], you are not even told that delta isos exist. The way in which your announcement is structured makes it very easy to download isos (listed on top), but very hard to download deltas (listed at the very bottom). You don't even have a link to the deltas themselves! IMHO the delta isos should be at the top, with a short description of how to use them in the mail, not as a link. Never underestimate the laziness of users! This way you could _really_ reduce the load of the servers. Maybe you could even publish the deltas first (via ftp and torrent), and a few hours later the full isos. That would certainly convince some people to use delta that would otherwise download the entire isos. Because applying a delta takes a long time (25 minutes for me) while downloading the iso takes little time for some people (3 minutes for me). Cheers nordi [1] http://www.opensuse.org/Download
