and it does with hplip
But as Patrick found, it seems to work on network port, not on // port.
didn't publish *any* findings, but... It appears to work fine as printer and/or scanner, fax not tested (lack of interest), via usb or network. and the hplip graphic supplies ink levels and drum life but browser access when networked provides much more information.
