I just installed a mini-SuSE system (i.e. I only installed about a dozen or so packages) and am having trouble with permissions on /dev/ptmx. On my production system they are: crw-rw-rw- On my mini-system they are: crw-r--r-- There are other /dev/* files with similar wrong permissions.
