Well, it's official. The mail is kaput on the linuxbox. Too bad. My reply to Christian L. was rejected with: ck@big7.net (reason: 550 5.7.1 mailto:ck@big7.net ...Relaying denied. IP name possibly forged [216.105.198.15]) - - -snip - - - 550 5.1.1 ck@big7.net...User unknown. My reading of that is, the envelope sender is corrupt. It's just plain corrupt. And, with the way SuSE is set up, with YaST2 and YaST1 and no way to know what is going where, I have no way to track this down without support. Where's SuSE support? Waiting for the big bucks, I guess. Well, if anyone has any ideas on how one cleans up mail messes, please let me know. I'm really interested in figuring out how to get control of this application. Thanks, and signing off from Windoz, yuck. Tom

If so then if you are having mail rejected because the other side thinks something is messed up then I would make sure your smtp and pop settings are correct. If you are using a GUI mailer..please sure your isps relay servers are correctly configured. I'm not sure what you issue is..please send again. I have not had any issues sending to lx-talk or anywhere else for that matter and I am wonder what the situation is. -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org cat CE|ME|NT|XP > /dev/null
