Hello, Can anyone help me find an app that will allow me to show a TV picture and use the TV tuner capabilities of my ATI Radeon 32Mb Does anyone know if there is a package or configuration bundled with SuSE 8.2 that I may have missed during the installation ? Under Windows the card has drivers to show a variety of TV/Video sources and also allows still image capture and Moving image to .AVI and .MPEG-2 I am missing my TV and the kids are missing their PS2 :-(( During the install I thought I had got drivers for the ATI as a Video card, and that I could use the kWinTV app to get some of this functionality. But it doesn't want to play ball. When I go to the TV card section of the YaST installation I see lots of other TV cards listed, but not the ATI Radeon. SuSE Database has about 280listing when I searched, and none caught my eye in the first 15minute pass. Any suggestions welcomed. Please. Many thanks, William. ________________________________________________________________________ Want to chat instantly with your online friends? Get the FREE Yahoo! The gatos drivers are the only way to get the TV tuner for newer ATI Radeon/All In Wonder cards working under Linux. ATI is only releasing the 2D/3D driver and no multimedia software for these cards for Linux. Why? No clue. Gatos and others are hampered by ATI not releasing enough technical information to create open source drivers. But gatos is doing what they can and their drivers are solid. Check the gatos.sourceforge.net sight for your card's particulars. Stan
