Hi, To whom that applies When replying to a mail please _DO_NOT CC to the person. As this person is on the list also you are just increasing bandwith usage for both sides. Since the only way you can send an email to any SuSE mailling Lists is only if the person is subscribed what is the benefit of CC'ing to the others who tried to provide an answer unless the original email sender has requested to be CC'ed. Yes I have procmail so I do not see the same mail twice, yet I still need to download the two mails before procmail can process it :-) Please have a look to the headers before you hit the send button, key or switch to a better mail program for example Mutt :-) Now just keeping my fingers crossed not to be CC'd on this topic :-) -- Togan Muftuoglu

Im only kidding, thought I would be a little sarcastic here. PS: I understand you completly. Let's all spread the word that replies are to be addressed to the SuSE list and the senders addy dropped from the To: or Cc: -- David M. Good idea David & Togan, as I have been getting several duplicate mails on this list, but didn't know what might be causing it. Thanks for you input in determining the cause and remedy. Now I return you to your regularly scheduled program! :-) end of line Tracer -- ---KMail 1.3.1--- SuSE Linux v7.2--- Registered Linux User #225206 /tracerb@sprintmail.com/ *Magic Page Products* *Team Amiga* http://home.sprintmail.com/~tracerb

A reply to sender from my netscape browser provides the e-mail address of the sender and not the e-mail address of the list. Maybe whoever runs the list ca do something to change this so that the proper e-mail can show up and hopefully preventing duplicate e-mails. just a thought harry Togan Muftuoglu wrote:
