After updating to 7.3 (from 7.2) I noticed that I get "pcp" as a failed service on bootup and shutdown. Can someone tell me what pcp is? It's the "Performance-Co-Pilot" from SGI. See http://oss.sgi.com for more info. Since you don't know what it is (did you do a full install?), I would recommend to simply remove the package ("rpm -e pcp").
