Ahh Patrick, still the same egotist that must jump to conclusions and comment on everything, I see. You need to step back and quit jumping to conclusions. I've been on this list for a good portion of the last 2 years, and am not like some Microsoft FanBoy yelling "Linux Sucks! Linux Sucks!" for the sake of it. If you can honestly sit back and say Novell/SuSE's quality control is pefect, go right ahead. I was merely pointing out that they've had numerous problems with 9.2 and 9.3 in the past year that have been show-stoppers for me, personally. I >LOVE< the bundling SuSE has in it. There isn't a single distro I've tried (I try to look at anything new - short of the 300 live CDs) that has such tight integration of KDE/Control Panel, and YaST. If there's one thing I could change about SuSE, it would be this list - remove you from it, or at least change your attitude. 9 out of 10 posts you make have no purpose other than to personally attack something someone says. Care to prove that please? I find that he may be curt, but his answers to posts about problems with an app or whatever are extremely helpful. He's also trying to get said poster to 'think' a little on their own before not trying real hard to figure it out themselves and just ask something that has a very simple 'fix' to it.

You came here, a list that SuSE doesn't officially watch, bitching about...ta da!...SuSE, and then go on about how Ubuntu is better here there and everywhere (maybe not quite that much, but you get my drift). Hey, got a complaint or wish for SuSE to fix? Send it *to* SuSE/Novell, not here.

Wellllll......I have seen hundreds of posts where Patrick has contributed to the users of this list. He is one of the Guru's of this list. Yes, he can be a little frustrating and abrasive at times but that is because he wants people to investigate and learn, not just give them an answer. Can't say I remember any significant posts by you. Have fun on Ubuntu or whatever. Bob S.
