DVD-Program conflict(returned DVD-player with SUSE PRo)
Hi Folks, (thanks for all the hardware recommendations) My DVD-player plays CDs. Playing DVDs it locks-up and I cannot open the drive bay. I installed the latest xine build. I suppose xine is the only thing that will work. I did install all multimedia packages from professional initially and I did not uninstall anything including old crippled xine. Should I remove all mulimedia: sound and start from scratch? Very stupid me: returned the Pioneer DVD-Rom player thinking it was the culprit. I left my SuSE 9.0 Pro DVD in it. I have to get it today before some poor Windows users installs it from the discount bin. Happy Halloween! Thom Nuzum thom@cavtel.net
