Hi, to find the ATI drivers, look on the bottom left of the screen for the lizard icon, click on it, then do the same for the computer tab. At the top, find administrator settings (Yast), and click on it. Type in your root password in the pop up box. When the Yast window opens, look for software/community repositories. Click on Comm. Repos. In the list, check ATI repository, Packman repository, Main (Non-Oss) Main (Oss), Main UPdate repo, OPensuse KDE community. Then accept these repositories by clicking the finish button. When the Repo window goes away, then click on Software/Software Management. A window will open up, and in the search window type in Bibletime, and hit search. When it finishes, click in the Bibletime check box on the right to allow yast to install it. Repeat for other programs that you want to install. When you are finished with your selections, select accept at the bottom right and the packages that you want will be installed for you. To get the latest Ati drivers, select Software/Online update. Follow the instructions here for Updating Packages, and yast will update the ati driver for you: http://en.opensuse.org/Updating_KDE_and_other_software_via_YaST Mark -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Keep these two links handy: http://en.opensuse.org/Package_Repositories http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories As mentioned, After setting up your initial repositories with Yast->Software->Community_Repositories, add any additional repositories you need from the links above in Yast->Software->Software_Repositories. Of course you will want packman and videolan repositories by default and as many more as you need. You can also find a list of build service repositories at: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/ That should get you started. -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
