I have just installed openSUSE 12.2 and see this problem is still not fixed. What does it take to fix this problem. It has been happening since 12.1 was released. I do not like having to keep an old system around solely so that I can use XDMCP. It is the menu that's broken and prevents selecting a remote host. If it's not going to be fixed, how about a practical work around? There are people who rely on this function.

Here's the latest bug report. There are older ones too.

I guess you just need to look in the usual places. You are able? http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/XOrg/ Now that was really hard.

Are you doing the add_repo correctly? I did it with the Yast Software Repositories tool. I was missing the last subdirectory. tnx -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Finally, it works. The package to be updated is xorg-x11-libs. Next question, why does it show the open apps on the remote desktop, rather than a fresh desktop. Is there anywhere to configure that? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
