Sorry for my ignorance, is there a separate repo I need to add for the openSUSE buildservice? When I go to webpin and look for xsane, the only place where I see 0.997 is in the GNOME factory repo, and I am afraid to add that one since I have been burned in the past by doing updates from there.
Thanks again for your help btw.

You can always go back. or just download the single rpm from GNOME:/Factory and install it from the cl: rpm -i --oldpackage /<file>/<location>/xsane-0.995....rpm -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
