[opensuse] gwenview and exif

When trying to rotate images according to exif from my camera, gwenview will only rotate single images. Choosing more images to rotate using exif seems to work but file>save is greyed out and the exif rotation is lost. Can anyone suggest a workaround? Or give me a one liner for imagemagik to effect the same? 11.2 zypper dup 2 days ago. All I want to do is take my photos and have them in the correct orientation. Say my original photos are in /foo and I want my rotated images in /bar.
