I just noticed that under 9.1 my touchpad isn't working. Where do I go to turn it back on? Thanks, Jerome
Very strange, I got it working.
This is what I got on /etc/X11/XF86config: Section "InputDevice" Driver "mouse" Identifier "Mouse[1]" Option "ButtonNumber" "5" Option "Device" "/dev/mouse" Option "Name" "Autodetection" Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2" Option "Vendor" "Sysp" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection
Note that the 5 buttons and ZAxisapping are needed to use my USB mouse. I am using both with this configuration anyway.

I too have a usb mouse connected to my vaio. But I have two mouse input sections. Should I only have one? I can move the cursor now suddenly for no apparent reason but tapping the touchpad still has no affect (it works with windows so I know its not hardware). Here are my sections: Section "InputDevice" Driver "mouse" Identifier "Mouse[1]" Option "Buttons" "5" Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice" Option "Name" "Autodetection" Option "Protocol" "explorerps/2" Option "Vendor" "Sysp" EndSection Section "InputDevice" Driver "mouse" Identifier "Mouse[3]" Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice" Option "Emulate3Buttons" "on" Option "Name" "Autodetection" Option "Protocol" "explorerps/2" Option "Vendor" "Sysp" EndSection Jerome
