All, I am having a problem with my backgrounds in KDE 1.0b4. I am not able to get them to display. The last significant change I made was setting my mouse to an intellimouse. This did not cause a problem immediately. The problem came on suddenly, and without anything significant immediately preceding it. I have uninstalled then reinstalled the KDE and all the X stuff. I reinstalled all the qt stuff that I could find. If I look in the .xsession-errors I see: Warning: Could not attach SHM. QPixmap::convertFromImage: Cannot convert a null image KBackground::KBackground KScreenSaver::KScreenSaver KGeneral::KGeneral KFM seems to be crashed !!!!!!! Running new KFM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
