as well as the previous complaint
i have tried zypper rm firefox which went away and deleted firefox then zypper in firefox which installed MozillaFirefox-6.99-3.1.x86_64.rpm plus support packages 3 in all the same 3 it removed i am now stuck with no working borwser need to get back to this mornings status
I'd first zypper in MozillaFirefox-6.0-2.1, then remove XUL.mfasl and XPC.mfasl from your Firefox profile directory, then try again. Deleting *.mfasl is always the first thing I try if any Mozilla won't start after updating anything. Those files are there solely to speed startup, but subject to corruption resulting from version changes. If deleting them doesn't work for you, visit:

Hi Felix.
