Adobe is dropping support for Linux, which means we/openSUSE has removed it from 13.1. I started the thread referred to, because I think we ought to keep acroread in, but marked as deprecated/unsupported.
BECAUSE - I refuse to use anything else !!!!!!!!!!!
The alternatives are not bad, but nor are they complete. Okular doesn't have a tabbed viewer for instance, but there are also key pdf features missing.
The key feature for me missing from Okular is being able to copy and paste text into other applications. I want to see a document with text, not an image of a document.

It has supported this forever, so long as the document actually contains text. A document that is itself just an image will never be anything more than an image unless you run some sort of OCR on it. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
