Isn't is customary to pay someone to take away your garbage?? Seems that Microsoft should be paying US to take their garbage.
Whoa, isn't this a bit over-agressive ? Please stay realistic. For about 4 months I am now struggling to get a smooth running Linux system. Despite several postings in this list and the help of many people, I am still facing the following problems - none of which exist in my Windows XP : * random/occasional failure to start wireless PCMCIA during boot * black screen after starting NVidia driver * no CDDB access by Konqueror * incorrect (too large) printing by KMail * no euro symbol available Please note that I decided to move away from Microsoft because I don't want to be depended upon the "secret" and embedded functions that Microsoft is forcing upon me. But "garbage" ? No ! So far my Windows works better than my Linux. ;-( Nevertheless I keep motivated to get things right under Linux, although sometimes I'm getting tired about the lack of progress.
