Hi all
I've got my Zip 100 external working. It works great with blank diskettes. BUT when I try to mount the zip tools disk I get this error:
Mount: /dev/sda4 is not a valid block device.
I tried to mount it as both a vfat and msdos. Either worked, any ideas?
The Zip Tools is an unusual beast - it has both FAT and MAC partitions on it, so I wouldn't be surprised if the FAT was something other than partition 4. I never figured out why they made partition 4 the standard for pre-formatted ZIPs...
This was the problem! I changed it from sda4 to sda1 and it worked. Thanks! -- Jim Hatridge Proud Linux User #88484 Owner -- beowulf-newbie list I didn't vote for his daddy either!
