nfs problem

After installin SuSE 9.1 i have the following problem. When i try to make a symbolic link on a nfs share on the SuSE 9.1 compuiter, i get the error: :Unknown error 524. however the link is made and can be used. but due to the error code i can't run some scripts anymore. Does anyone have a solution for this Regards, Rini
