Am I correct in my understanding that SuSE 8.1 uses Xft? Also, did the mozilla that came with SuSE 8.1 already had this compiled in?
No, and no. What they talk about Xft, they actually mean Xft2 I believe (for information on the difference have a look at www.fontconfig.org) 8.2 will have Xft2 support, although I dunno whether the Mozilla packages in it will, the packages on www.usr-local-bin.org for 8.2 when it's available will though. -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 8.1).
