Grsync was in "Contrib" repository which was deprecated for 12.1 (I don't know what replaces Contrib).
However, it is still available in these repositories (Standard has the March '11 version and Factory the Sept 11 version).

While these may not have been tested with 12.1, there is a chance they may still work.
Thanks. I am using 12.1. Any idea why was it depreciated and which app replaced it? I was using it excessively to keep my data synced on my HHDs in Ubuntu box.
Thanks for the pointer to the old repo. Trying to install but fear it may break or not stay updated.

The entire contrib repo was deprecated with 12.1
Instead the maintainers were encouraged to put their packages into the main factory repo.
Look in OBS to see who the old maintainer was and send them an email asking that they make it available for 12.1 somewhere and that they submit it to factory for the future.
That's actually a good advice. The maintainer will also get to know that there are users who appreciate his work. I wish there was a channel where users can rate/review apps so as to encourage developers -- the way Gnome Extension is doing :-) Thanks Swapnil -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
