So I was just explaining in rather more detail. Yes it would be great if we can have your crystal or lattice memory, but I suspect it will suffer greatly from quantum degradation :-( As some great physicist once said (Neils Bohr?) - "Man proposes, nature opposes". Computers are fast being miniaturized to the point at which classical physics ceases to work ...
