I'm trying to install a system with an ancient, low-grade monitor.
Is there some way that I can get some sort of text-based install, rather than a GUI/"pretty" one??????
Try entering `manual' at the LILO-Prompt when booting from the install CD/Disk. This should start a YaST1-based install. I don't know if this still works in 7.1, though.
