Configuring a vt100 on a serial line.

This should be very tricky, but actually I wonder how to configure and which package is needed to make it works. Into the man page of mingetty, we're told to use mgetty for serial lines. So I've installed the mgetty package; unfortunately into the mgetty man page, we're told of modems. Should it works with a VT 100 or any kind of console directly connected to the serial line. If this will do the should what is the right parameters for ttyS0 to be added into the file /etc/inittab Thanks for your help. Best Pascal MiQUET
