I am about to check that out. In the meantime, yesterday I downloaded the entire 8.2 install from the internet so I can install from a HDD. At least that is a fall-back option. I'll see if I can make the NIC work while copying the 4+gb to the Linux drive. There is not much understandable data there :( Start kinfocenter -> pci and search for your nic.
