Hello,

After I upgraded to 11.4 (two machines), the cups page displays with only text, the graphic pictures of printers are lost. The icons you could click to do actions are lost, instead I see dropdown text only lists.
What I see is here: <http://susepaste.org/5123280>. There are no icons.
I don't see what should be wrong here. It looks the same as on my machines.
It looks ugly. No pictures. And the pictures seem to be in "/usr/share/cups/webcontent/images", why not use them?
The web interface was changed for CUPS 1.4.x, see http://www.cups.org/documentation.php/doc-1.4/relnotes.html which reads in particular: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CUPS 1.4b1 (October 27, 2008) ... The web interface look-n-feel has been updated (STR #2492) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "STR #2492"is http://www.cups.org/str.php?L2492 which reads in particular: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ... using regular (form) buttons instead of image buttons ... ----------------------------------------------------------------------
So, you mean that this downgraded view is what we have now? What a shame. The old system was easier to control, direct icons to click pause or disable a printer, instead of finding where the option is now in a droplist. Clever :-( - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
