That is the repository that comes with apt on suse. Therefore i assume it is their official one. It has most of the programs I need, it just being so far makes it very slow.

The _only_ "official" SUSE site is ftp.suse.com all others are mirrors. And there really is _no_ official SUSE apt site. The use of APT is not
