I think we are talking about the same thing. I'm talking about the new packages listed when I do a zypper dup or zypper lu (which usually shows what will be duped) Now there may be some confusion if lu isn't showing all that would be duped, but since all repos are refreshed before lu runs, it doesn't look like there is any difference.
