About once or twice a week for no reasons I've been able to determine the popups in my KDE session appear all black. If three is any text I can't see it, it there is any background I cna't see it; the popups are all black. Maybe its black on black. Maybe its simply nothing gets displayed. The functionality is there. If i know how many up/down keypresses in the menu it takes then I get the result I expect. If I log out by knowing the strokes or by 'systemctl restart' or the less catastrophic /usr/bin/kde4init_shutdown I can log in again and all is well. This has persisted over a number of upgrades of the kernel and updates to KDE4 core over the last month to six weeks. Currently kernel: 3.18.5-1.gf378da4-desktop OS_VERSION="13.1 (Bottle)" libkde4-4.14.4-1.7.x86_64 kdelibs4-4.14.4-1.7.x86_64 and so on. Rpm reports most are 4.14.<something> As I say, this is very intermittent. -- A: Yes. > Q: Are you sure? >> A: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. >>> Q: Why is top posting frowned upon? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
