Hello all, I also suffered long ago from havin' to tweak the mode definitions of the X window to be able to see anything, but since I'm a text mode user , only recently moved to gui's I never got a real problem. But this one thing that could frustate many users when they come to linux, there's no other way of doin'? I suspect there is , because sdd for linux doesn't use (at my knoledge) those definitions. Maybe we should follow this approach and do a similar system ?.
