Please give us the details of your /etc/fstab and /etc/mtab files. Can't you browse these partitions from /windows
Here is /etc/fstab: /dev/disk/by-id/ata-ST9250827AS_5RG0CMC3-part5 swap swap defaults 0 0 /dev/disk/by-id/ata-ST9250827AS_5RG0CMC3-part6 / ext3 acl,user_xattr 1 1 /dev/disk/by-id/ata-ST9250827AS_5RG0CMC3-part7 /home ext3 acl,user_xattr 1 2 proc /proc proc defaults 0 0 sysfs /sys sysfs noauto 0 0 debugfs /sys/kernel/debug debugfs noauto 0 0 usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0 devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0 Here is /etc/mtab: /dev/sda6 / ext3 rw,acl,user_xattr 0 0 /proc /proc proc rw 0 0 sysfs /sys sysfs rw 0 0 debugfs /sys/kernel/debug debugfs rw 0 0 udev /dev tmpfs rw 0 0 devpts /dev/pts devpts rw,mode=0620,gid=5 0 0 /dev/sda7 /home ext3 rw,acl,user_xattr 0 0 fusectl /sys/fs/fuse/connections fusectl rw 0 0 securityfs /sys/kernel/security securityfs rw 0 0 none /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc binfmt_misc rw 0 0 /dev/sr0 /media/SU1110.001 iso9660 ro,nosuid,nodev,noatime,uid=1000,utf8 0 0 gvfs-fuse-daemon /home/george/.gvfs fuse.gvfs-fuse-daemon rw,nosuid,nodev,user=george 0 0 The wierd thing is, I cannot seem to find any partition labeled /windows. When I had this drive on my old computer, it was labeled /windows and I was able to browse the partition(using konqueror and clicking on "my computer") in that way. But now I never see the label /windows, so I cannot seem to browse it. I don't know why that is. thanks george -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
