So I finally figured out my problem, SuSE doesn't support Realtek 8168 drivers in the kernel. It listed 10.0 as not working, does anyone know if there are any plans to make it work in future developments such as 10.2 or maybe 10.3? Does anyone know how to install the drivers (I keep getting errors)? Is there a way to get it working.
I am running a Reaoteck 8169 without any problems. I am not sure what the difference is between an 8168 and an 8169.
It's a little different. Plus of course, the PCI ID is not listed in the kernel module. Some new PCI IDs have been added in 2.6.19, and the 'has-it-all' driver can be obtained from the realtek page. No need for PCMCIA cards. -`J' -- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
