Indeed, for the reasons I mentioned, and you snipped. Manufacturers provide Windows because people want it and expect it to be provided. Those of us who differ are quite capable of finding and using an alternative.
Jerry, I've been in this industry for a LONG time, and can assure you.....MOST don't insist on MickySoft - period! Many don't know anything about Linux so wouldn't opt for it. IF they did know, I think they'd opt for it. Once again, MANY don't want MickySoft - they DON'T like it. They just don't know they can have something else MUCH, MUCH better.
