SuSE generally patches the release for two years for the non-enterprise version. You can purchase support for up to five years for the enterprise versions. The future is a great unknown but you can usually do an ftp install after the release has been out for an month or two for the i386 release of SuSE. for more information on downloads check: http://www.suse.com/us/private/download/suse_linux/index.html On Sunday 20 July 2003 05:34 pm, Philip May wrote:
I can update the packages of my SuSE 8.2 with yast2... but what will happen when SuSE 8.3 is released? Will there still be up-to-date packages available?
Will it somehow be possible to update to SuSE 8.3 _without_ buying a new SuSE package ?
