I have Ghost which I've used for customers who insist on Windows centric solutions for backups. I also have Power Quest's Partition Magic 8.0 and Disk Image. Symantec has just purchased Power Quest and it is expected that Disk Image will go away as a product. Some of its features will find there way to Ghost. There are some limitations to all these products with respect to programmed system generation and building. I want to be able to not only load standard images but also programmed specialization and setup. So I've expanded my requirements to allow adding packages, alternate configurations, and yet easy and quick.. I am guessing that there exists LINUX based automated installation tools. I'm still looking. GarUlbricht7@netscape.net wrote:

A friend of mine, who is a tester, so she is constantly "rebuilding" her "images," uses (and likes) Norton's Ghost (enterprize edition) http://enterprisesecurity.symantec.com/products/products.cfm?productID=3 as she says it is simple to use.
