hey all,
A question about KDE 3.4.2 what is the best to do?
a) uninstall kde 3.4.0 and install the new packages
or
b) do the install as rpm -U --force --nodeps *.rpm I am running suse 9.3 (on a 1.8 Ghz p4)

Why not add the source as a YaST source and let it work out all of the deps? Only use --force as a last resort and only if you know what you are doing. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998 "The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners." -Ernst Jan Plugge
