amaroK and KDE 3.4

Hello list, I recently upgraded KDE to 3.4 from 3.3 through some clever tricks I found on this list. Sad thing is, now amaroK has stopped working, (it looks like a new version too). I can hear normal system sounds fine. mp3's play nicely in VLC also. I guess I just have grown fond of amaroK. Anyone with any ideas of where to start the troubleshooting? regards, Mikael
