I've noted a new problem in 10.1 that may be a KDE problem, not anything in the base code. If one chooses to use the normal Unix convention of wherever the cursor is, is the active window, then windows start to "strobe" and processor usage is 100% unless you try to move the window, then the strobing stops.....for awhile. Changing the option in KDE to a "click" to change windows stops all of this.
This all started the other day with a large update that included KDE files.
