I have some doubts about this method, so let's take some serious countermeasures. 1. start YaST2 as root 2. Hardware --> Sound All the sound devices on the PC are displayed as Sound Configuration, so set the driver for the device you want to use via the Add button. Here, the BEHRINGER GmbH UMC202HD 192k and Texas Instruments PCM2900 Audio Codec are set as USB Audio Generic, but YaST2 sets them as different cards. Probably, the device that is not used is from the Gigabyte video card, but this should be left in the "Not Registered" state. Each time you set up a device, proceed with the work while checking with the test sound. Best Regards. --- ┏━━┓彡 Masaru Nomiya mail-to: nomiya @ lake.dti.ne.jp ┃\/彡 ┗━━┛ "Reading widely about things that don't seem immediately or practically useful, in the hope that what you learn now may prove meaningful later―that's pretty much the definition of a liberal- arts education.
