Hi! I have an old laptop that does not hava CD. I need to try some different operating systems on it to find which it can run. The laptop can boot from network adapter. I also have a SuSE 9.1 professional on my network. I also have a NAT box that is acting as DHCP server. So, the guestion is, can I set up the SuSE 9.1 box as PXE server and start the installation of Win98, Win2K and SuSE from there? I do have the original installation CD's for both windowses (not pirated!). For some use (such as testing), I also would like to setup a simple DOS boot from the PXE server. Has anybody done this with SuSE? I've seen some very short descriptions about it, but they are generic and feel outdated (no YAST, well not SuSE at all...) and they always mention having a DHCP server at the linux box (without any great explanation to why). I have it at the NAT box and can not really change that - unless it really is impossible to do it otherways. Anybody? -- HG
